ALTA ROCCA TRAIL - U SPIDALI

Experience the breathtaking beauty of southern Corsica with the U Spidali Trail, set to take place on November 29, 2026. Nestled in the heart of Cartalavonu and its surrounding mountains, this trail offers a unique blend of challenging terrain and stunning vistas.
Participants can choose between two trails: U Ghjiru di U Spidali (The Path of the Chapel) for those seeking an introduction to mountain running, or I Punti, which is ideal for more experienced runners looking for a longer adventure. The shorter trail, covering 10 kilometers with around 300 meters of elevation gain, starts at 10:15 AM as part of the timed event and includes a non-timed walking option beginning shortly after.
The I Punti route stretches over 15 kilometers with approximately 800 meters of ascent. This trail begins promptly at 10:00 AM from Cartalavonu, offering runners an immersive journey through varied landscapes that include dense pine forests and rocky crags leading up to the scenic Punta di Vacca Morta.
Both trails wind through a region characterized by its dramatic elevation changes and panoramic views of both sea and mountains. The route features rugged terrain with steep ascents and descents, making it ideal for those who enjoy technical trail running in a picturesque setting.
For participants planning ahead, dossiers can be picked up on November 28th from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at LA BRASS located within the Auchan shopping center. Alternatively, they will also be available on race day until 9:30 AM near Cartalavonu.
