Alpine Madrid Marathon

The Maratón Alpino Madrileño 2026 takes place on Sunday, June 14, 2026, at 8:00 AM, starting and finishing in Cercedilla, Madrid, Spain. Event Logistics & Participant Information:

• Registration: Opens February 27 at 10:00 AM via deporticket.com. First-come, first-served. Maximum 400 runners. No late or on-site registration once bibs are sold out.
• Bib Pickup: Personalized — only the registered runner can pick up their bib with valid ID. Federated runners must present their federation license. Saturday pickup (June 13) qualifies for registration discount.
• Time Limits & Cutoffs: 9-hour overall limit. Cutoffs — 1st pass Puerto de Navacerrada (2h35), 1st pass Puerto de Cotos (3h40), 2nd pass Puerto de Cotos (5h45), 2nd pass Puerto de Navacerrada (8h00). Runners past cutoffs must surrender bib and are transported to finish.
• Aid Stations: Semi-self-sufficient race. 8 liquid aid stations (water) and 4 solid aid stations (food) plus finish. NO cups provided — runners MUST carry their own cup or container.
• Mandatory Equipment: Mobile phone with sufficient battery, cup/container for drinking, windbreaker jacket, gloves, hat or neck tube, thermal blanket (minimum 130x210 cm), bib with timing chip.
• Weather adjustments: Organizers may remove mandatory equipment requirements based on conditions (announced at technical chat or before start).
• Course Marking: Marked with bright tape. Runners must stay on marked course — no shortcuts (disqualification).
• Environmental Rules: Carry your own solid waste to next aid station. No shouting or noise devices (bells, megaphones). Do not disturb water courses or wetlands. Cross streams using bridges or stones.
• Safety: Runners must help any injured participant. Medical staff or sweep runners may remove any runner for health or time reasons. Volunteers and control staff have authority to withdraw runners.
• Refund/Cancellation: Cancellation insurance available (4€) — 80% refund if requested before May 22 via [email protected]. No refund without insurance. No bib transfers — using another runner's bib results in 4-year ban from all organizer events.
• Results: Final classification includes name, surname, category, and nationality.
