About the Event

The SAV Cross in Grootebroek is the third race of the All4running cross circuit. This exciting event offers runners of all ages and abilities an opportunity to compete on challenging terrain. Participants can choose from various categories based on their age, with specific birth years determining eligibility for each group.
For young athletes aged 8 to 10 (born in 2017-2020), the U8-U10 category provides a fun and engaging experience. Runners aged 11 to 13 (born in 2014-2016) compete in the U11-U13 division, while those between 14 and 16 years old (born in 2011-2013) run in the more competitive U14-U16 category. Older runners aged 17 to 20 (born in 2007-2010) have their own division, offering a chance for them to test their skills against peers.
The race also caters to recreational runners who prefer different distances than those typically set for their gender. Men can opt for the shorter distance by signing up as "heren recreant," joining the women's field for an alternative challenge without eligibility for prizes. Similarly, women interested in a longer course can sign up as "dames recreant" and compete alongside men under the same conditions.
The event promises to be a thrilling day of competition with scenic routes through Grootebroek’s picturesque landscapes. Runners will experience varied terrain that tests endurance and agility, making it an unforgettable part of the All4running cross circuit series.
