Since its successful relaunch in 2024, this event has grown significantly, drawing runners from near and far to participate in a variety of races designed for all ages.
The centerpiece of the day is the competitive 10k race through West Sussex's stunning countryside, featuring two scenic laps that wind along local footpaths, bridleways, and trails. The route offers breathtaking views and challenging terrain, making it an exciting test for seasoned runners. For those looking for a shorter but equally rewarding experience, there’s also a chip-timed 5k race designed to showcase the beauty of Slinfold's surroundings in just one lap.
Children are not left out with dedicated races tailored specifically for them. The popular one-mile event for children aged 8-11 features an inter-schools challenge trophy, adding an element of friendly competition among local schools. Meanwhile, a separate race is organized for younger participants aged 5 to 7 at the Slinfold Cricket Club.
