Alanya Ultra Trail invites runners on an unforgettable journey from the Mediterranean coast to the rugged Taurus Mountains. Founded by champion mountain runner Ahmet Arslan in 2017, this trail race follows ancient nomadic paths and historic caravan routes, weaving through Alanya's rich cultural heritage.
The event begins at Cleopatra Beach, a renowned stretch of sand where runners are greeted with warm coastal breezes before setting off on an adventure that spans diverse landscapes. The route winds past castles, historical landmarks, and mountain plateaus, offering glimpses into the region’s storied past while challenging participants with varied terrain.
Participants can choose from six different distances, ranging from a short trail run to an ultra marathon that stretches over demanding trails.
