Ahmedabad Half Marathon

The inaugural edition of the Ahmedabad Half Marathon 2027 (AHM 2027) invites runners from all walks of life to join together on January 31, 2027, along the picturesque Sabarmati Riverfront in Ahmedabad. This event is more than a race; it's an experience that celebrates fitness, community spirit, and the vibrant culture of India’s cultural capital.
Participants will traverse one of the country's most scenic urban running routes, offering breathtaking views of the Sabarmati River as they push their limits on this challenging yet rewarding course. The half marathon is designed for runners of all abilities, from first-time participants to seasoned athletes looking to achieve a personal best or simply enjoy an energetic race day.
The AHM 2027 offers four distinct categories: the 21.1K Sabarmati Half Marathon, the 10K Heritage Run, the 5K Jalsa Fun Run, and the non-timed 3K Kutumb Family Run for younger participants and their families. Each category is tailored to cater to different levels of experience and age groups.
Registration fees range from ₹2,100 for the Sabarmati Half Marathon down to ₹800 for the Kutumb Run, providing an inclusive entry point for all interested in joining this vibrant community event. The race day schedule begins early with the half marathon at 5:30 AM and concludes with a family-friendly atmosphere as participants of all ages enjoy their respective categories.
Awards will be given to overall winners and age category champions across men's and women’s divisions, with cash prizes for top finishers in the Sabarmati Half Marathon and Heritage Run. Participants receive various race-day benefits including dry-fit t-shirts, hydration stations along the course, post-race breakfast, medical support, physiotherapy services, e-certificates, and complimentary images of their memorable run.
The Bib Expo will take place on January 29 & 30 at a venue to be announced from 11:00 AM – 6:00 PM where all participants must collect their race bibs. No bib distribution is allowed on the day of the event, ensuring that everyone has time to prepare and familiarize themselves with the course layout.
