A Coventry Way 50

A Coventry Way 50 presents runners with an expansive and scenic countryside route encircling the historic city of Coventry. Organized by LDWA Heart of England, this challenging 50-mile course builds upon the legacy of its predecessor, A Coventry Way 40, but adds new points of interest such as castles, manors, and outlying villages. The extended distance accommodates diversions necessitated by urban expansion, HS2 works, housing developments, and pipeline constructions.
Registration opens at the Heart of England Social Club on Berkswell Road in Meriden (GR SP 244 818) from 07:00, with rolling starts between 08:00 and 11:00 based on expected pace. Participants can look forward to a commemorative technical T-shirt available for purchase upon completion at £10.
This event also serves as both a late qualifier for the LDWA Jurassic 100 in 2027 and an early qualifier for the LDWA Millstone 100 in 2028. All entrants agree to adhere to the ACW50 Rules, ensuring fair play and safety throughout the challenging course.
Runners will immerse themselves in a rich tapestry of historic landmarks and rural landscapes as they traverse this meticulously designed route on April 24, 2027.
