On November 30, 2026, runners and walkers across France will come together for the annual "Collecte de dons" event. This unique fundraiser allows participants to choose their own challenge—whether walking, running, cycling, or swimming—from November 1 through November 30. By purchasing a race bib and submitting proof of completion via a photo, individuals can support "Le Combat de Suzie," an association dedicated to helping Suzie, who suffers from a rare genetic disorder caused by CDKL5 gene mutation.
Suzie's condition leads to severe drug-resistant epilepsy, affecting her ability to communicate and walk. She is fed through a gastrostomy tube and also faces hip dysplasia and osteoporosis. The funds raised during this event will go towards covering the costs of neurofunctional treatments, home adaptations, and necessary equipment for Suzie’s care.
