7ª ROTARY RUN

On December 20, 2026, the Rotary Club of Rio Negro hosts its seventh annual Rotary Run, a charity race benefiting local philanthropic organizations. The event takes place at the Estádio Municipal Ervino Metzger in Estação Nova, Rio Negro, with participants gathering for both the 10 km and 5 km races starting at 7:00 AM.
Runners will enjoy scenic routes through the heart of Rio Negro as they support a good cause. The race features chip timing, personalized medals, and hydration stations along the way. In addition to traditional age group awards and overall top finishers’ trophies for both distances, there’s an exciting new category recognizing the most improved male and female runners based on their performance in 2023 compared to 2025.
Participants can collect race kits at Loja Big Passo or opt for day-of-event pickup if traveling from another city. The event promises a warm community atmosphere with support from local sports authorities, making it an ideal way to kick off the holiday season while giving back to those in need.
