7ª CORRIDA NOTURNA DA GUARDA MUNICIPAL DE ARAUCÁRIA

About the Event

On October 30, 2026, runners and walkers will gather at Parque Cachoreira in Araucária to participate in the Guarda Municipal Race. The race offers three distances: a 5K run, a 10K run, and a leisurely 3K walk through scenic trails within the park. Participants can choose from two categories: exclusive for members of the Guarda Municipal or open to the public as part of the community category.
The event begins at 8 PM with vibrant energy lighting up the night sky. Runners will enjoy well-lit paths and stunning views under the stars, while walkers meander through peaceful woodland areas. Both runners and walkers receive a kit that includes a race number, electronic timing chip, finisher medal, and hydration station access.
For those in the community category, there are additional incentives: top male and female finishers across both 5K and 10K races will be awarded trophies. In addition to these overall awards, three winners from each age group (14-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and over 70) will also receive recognition in the 5K race. The event promises a memorable night filled with camaraderie and scenic beauty.
Registration for all categories is open from September 28 to October 25 through the official website.
