CORRIDA KM 1 - ETAPA SÃO JOSÉ DOS PINHAIS

The Corrida KM 1, organized by Thomé & Santos Ltda., is set to take place on November 1, 2026, at the Praça do Verbo Divino in São José dos Pinhais. This event aims to promote physical activity and healthy living among runners and walkers of all ages, welcoming participants aged 14 for the 3 km walk/run category and those 16 years old for the competitive 5 km run.
The race starts at 7:00 AM with a vibrant atmosphere as athletes gather in Centro. The course is designed to encourage social interaction among runners while offering scenic routes through São José dos Pinhais, enhancing the overall experience. Participants can choose between two distances: a challenging 5 km run or an accessible 3 km walk/run option.
Each participant receives essential items such as a race bib and timing chip for accurate results. Upon crossing the finish line within the allotted hour and ten minutes, runners are greeted with hydration stations along the way and a well-deserved medal upon completion. For those looking to enhance their experience, additional kits including custom-designed T-shirts are available.
The event also features awards for top-performing teams or running clubs in various categories, adding an extra layer of competition and camaraderie among participants.
