6ª CORRIDA DE PREVENÇÃO AO AVC

On October 18, 2026, the 6th Annual Stroke Prevention Run will take place in Feira de Santana, Bahia, starting at 6:00 AM. Hosted by Hospital Geral Clériston Andrade, this event aims to promote physical activity and raise awareness about stroke prevention among the community. Participants can choose between a 5 km or a more accessible 3 km route, catering to runners of all levels.
The race is designed not only as an athletic challenge but also as a platform for health education and wellness advocacy. The morning's event features vibrant pre-race activities that emphasize the importance of regular exercise in maintaining long-term well-being. Each participant will receive a standard kit including a t-shirt, bib number, chip timing device, and medal upon registration.
Special categories are available to encourage broader participation: a 50% discounted entry for those aged 60 or over and another reduced rate option for participants with disabilities (PCD), requiring proof of eligibility at the time of sign-up. These initiatives underscore the event's commitment to inclusivity and health promotion across diverse demographics.
Kit pickup will be available on October 16 from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM, and again on October 17 between 9:00 AM and 2:00 PM. Runners must present a photo ID and payment confirmation for kit distribution during these times.
This event promises an engaging morning of community spirit, health awareness, and physical activity in the heart of Feira de Santana.
