69e Joe Mann Bosloop

Join us for the Joe Mann Forest Run, an exciting cross-country race that caters to athletes of all ages and skill levels. This year's edition takes place on January 24, 2027, offering runners a challenging yet rewarding course through scenic woodland trails.
The event features separate categories tailored specifically to juniors and pupils based on their age as determined by the calendar year 2027. For instance, athletes born in 2016 or 2017 will compete in the U12 category, while those born from 2018 onwards are eligible for the U9 and younger classifications.
The race day kicks off with a special event for young runners before transitioning to recreational races where participants can choose their preferred distance. The long cross run is organized by age group, ranging from U18 up through Masters categories for both men and women. Meanwhile, the short cross run provides an open category without specific age divisions.
For those under 16 years old in 2027, there's a dedicated youth race event. Additionally, club team standings will be awarded across various youth classifications, fostering healthy competition among local athletic clubs.
Whether you're part of an established running club or participating as an individual, this event welcomes all runners to enjoy the unique setting and competitive spirit that defines the Joe Mann Forest Run. Don't miss your chance to experience the thrill of racing through beautiful forest terrain on January 24th!
