On October 18, 2026, the Parque do Peão de Barretos will host another edition of Unimed Run, an inclusive event designed for runners and families alike. The race offers various distances: a 5K run, a 10K run, a half marathon (21KM), and a family-friendly 5K walk. Participants can start racing at 6 AM with full support from the organizers. The course is meticulously prepared to ensure both performance and safety for all competitors. At each of the race distances, top three finishers receive trophies in their respective categories. Additionally, there are age-group awards and special prizes for participants with disabilities (PCD). Teams can also vie for recognition based on the highest number of registered members. All finishers will be awarded a medal as they cross the line. The kit includes an official poliamide t-shirt, race bibs embedded with timing chips, and a backpack from sponsors. Throughout the course, hydration stations are placed every 3KM to keep runners refreshed. For those tackling the half marathon distance, isotonic drinks are provided along the route. Medical support is available in case of emergencies, including an ICU ambulance on standby. Participants can also make use of baggage storage facilities near the start/finish area. In a social initiative, each athlete who collects their race kit will contribute one liter of milk to be donated for community welfare programs.
