On October 12, 2026, the AAVV La Zaporra hosts the 52nd edition of its popular race "La Zaporra" with support from the Excmo. Ayuntamiento de San Sebastián de los Reyes and technical direction by Club Ecodeporte. This event welcomes all athletes—both Spanish and international runners, whether federated or not—who have registered in advance.
The adult categories feature two distinct distances: a competitive 10 km race that involves four laps around an urban circuit of 2.5 kilometers each lap, and a non-competitive 5 km option with two laps around the same course. For younger participants, there is also a fun-filled 1.5 km run for children, offering one complete loop through a specially designed route tailored just for them.
The race takes place in San Sebastián de los Reyes, an energetic and vibrant city that offers runners scenic urban views as they navigate its bustling streets during the event. The atmosphere at La Zaporra is lively with enthusiastic crowds cheering on participants throughout the day, creating an unforgettable experience for everyone involved.
