Held at Mount Heming, the birthplace of Daoism in China, where Zhang Daoling first taught the faith beneath stone steps like unrolled scripture and bamboo forest like a natural temple. The route crosses terrain sacred to three religious traditions, near the Silk Road Buddhist site of Wuzhong Mountain, with occasional appearances by wild giant pandas peeking down from the trees.
