About the event
The Warsaw Marathon, established in 1979, stands as one of eight European Marathon Classics. Known for its fast and scenic course, this marathon offers runners an unparalleled experience with the enthusiastic support of local fans lining the streets throughout the race. A unique feature is the split medal: half remains with the finisher while the other part goes to their loved ones, symbolizing a shared achievement. Set against the backdrop of Warsaw's historic landmarks and vibrant cityscape, this event promises a memorable day for all participants on September 26, 2027.
The route winds through iconic sites like Castle Square and the Royal Route, immersing runners in Poland’s rich history while challenging them with flat terrain ideal for achieving personal bests. The atmosphere is electric as spectators cheer relentlessly from start to finish, making every step feel supported and celebrated.
