About the Event

Un octubre de 1984 las calles de Castellón acogían por primera vez la Media Maratón de Castellón.

En aquel momento nadie podía imaginarse que esta carrera se convertiría en una prueba tan emblemática y, hoy en día, es la carrera a pie más antigua de la provincia de Castellón.

Ha sido la Unió Atlètica de Castelló (UAC) el club de atletismo que ha hecho que este evento deportivo se haya celebrado año tras año hasta poder cumplir este próximo 31 de Enero de 2027 su 42ª Edición.

Desde que Isabel Fuster y Luis Adsuara ganarán aquella primera edición muchos han sido las y los atletas que han corrido por las calles de Castellón en la Media Maratón de Castelló y a los que también tenemos que agradecer su participación para poder llegar este 2027 a celebrar esta tan especial 42ª edición de la prueba, con nuevo Récord de corredores en la edición del 2026.
