About the Event

Ten laps. Each lap 4 km. Solo or team. All proceeds to Queensland Police Legacy. The 40 for FORTEY returns to the Toowoomba Showgrounds on Sunday, June 14, 2026. Start time for the 40 km event (individual and teams) is 6:30 AM. The 4 km Remembrance Event starts at 8:00 AM. Entry for every category is the same flat fee — $26.50 — and every cent goes to Police Legacy.

40 km SOLO
Individual completes 10 x 4 km laps • Age 15+ • Pram friendly

40 km TEAM
Teams of 2‑10 complete 10 laps relay style • Age 10+
40 km SCHOOL — same format, separate school competition

4 km Remembrance Event
Single 4 km lap • Run or walk with friends/family • Age 10+
Children under 10 free with paying adult

Prizes (only for those who show up in person):

Fastest team prize (40 km only — 4 km event not eligible)
Best Dressed prize — both 4 km and 40 km eligible. Dressing up is optional but "highly recommended."

Event Clothing:

On sale May 7–31, 2026. No postage — pickup only at race pack collection (Saturday, June 13) or on race day at the Showgrounds. You can nominate someone else to collect for you.

Start/finish location: Toowoomba Showgrounds Caravan Park, Glenvale Road, Glenvale QLD.
All events are pram friendly. Run or walk — your choice.
