About the Event

Race day at Panorama Farms on Saturday, June 6th, 2026, will be a crisp morning with the sun rising over Earlysville. The air is filled with the scent of blooming wildflowers and the distant call of birds as runners gather for their five-kilometer journey. Panorama Farms, off Earlysville Road, has been transformed into a vibrant community space where local residents come together to support our military members and celebrate freedom.
The event has deep roots in the community, hosting various iterations since 2016. In recent years, it has grown significantly with participants from all walks of life coming together for this meaningful run or walk. The race not only serves as a way to honor those who serve but also as an opportunity to raise funds and awareness for important causes.
Course & Conditions
The course at Panorama Farms is set on 850 acres, offering a mix of terrain that keeps runners engaged throughout the five-kilometer journey. The surface is hard and dry, providing a smooth running experience even in less than ideal conditions. Runners will navigate through diverse landscapes, including open fields and gently rolling hills, making each step count.
On race day, the start at Panorama Farms will be marked by a bustling atmosphere as participants gather for their number pick-up before heading out on the course. The finish line is just as impressive with cheering crowds and vendor areas showcasing veteran-owned businesses and organizations dedicated to supporting our military community. Special features like water stations and rest points are strategically placed along the route, ensuring that every runner can push through the final miles.

Logistics
Register early by visiting https://runsignup.com/Race/VA/Earlysville/4OurFreedom5K to secure your t-shirt! Registration is free for all distances. Bib pickup will be held at ACAC Albemarle Square on Friday, June 5th from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
The start location is Panorama Farm off Earlysville Road in Earlysville, Virginia. The event welcomes runners of all ages; participants must be 18 years or older for the main race distance. First-timers are encouraged and will find a friendly atmosphere as they join seasoned runners on this memorable day.
