Course & Conditions
The 5K run/walk course winds through the Homestead High School Environmental Center grounds and beyond, offering runners a mix of surfaces including firm gravel paths and slightly softer trails. The terrain will provide an invigorating challenge as participants navigate around natural obstacles like small hills and turns.
Race day starts at the Homestead Environmental Center with both 5K run/walkers and Turkey Toddlers Trotters gathering for their respective events. The race route follows a loop through the center's trails, ensuring that all runners pass by scenic areas before crossing back into more urban settings. Along the way, there are two aid stations to provide water stops every few miles.

Early bird registration is available through August 31st, with a $20 fee; regular race day fees start from $27 and include both the 5k Run/Walk and Turkey Toddlers Trot.
Bib pickup will be held at Fleet Feet South on November 20th from 4-6pm. On race morning, pick up your packet between 8:30am to 9:30am at Homestead Environmental Center. First 350 runners receive the 2025 Turkey Trot buff as a special thank you for their participation.
Start Address & Age Requirements
The start line is located at Homestead High School Environmental Center, where all participants should gather by 9:45 am sharp. The race welcomes both experienced and first-time runners of any age, with no minimum requirement beyond being able to walk or run a five-kilometer distance safely.
