On July 12, 2026, the picturesque town of Nübel will host its third annual Nübel Marathon, offering runners a unique blend of challenging terrain and scenic beauty. This year's race takes place on a hilly course in South Angeln, with stunning views that extend all the way to Schleswig Cathedral.
The marathon route includes sections of military training ground "Langsee," an area usually off-limits to civilians but open exclusively for this event by the Bundeswehr.
