2ª CORRIDA ÍNDIO SUPERMERCADOS

On November 22, 2026, Guaíba will host the second edition of the Índio Supermercados Running Festival. This community-driven race features two main running categories: a scenic 4km course and an extended 8km route that winds through the city's vibrant streets and avenues. Participants can also enjoy special events like the Mascot Run and Kids' races, designed for young athletes to compete in distances of 50m, 100m, and 200m.
The race kicks off at 8:00 AM with a festive atmosphere as runners gather on Rua Vinte de Setembro. The event offers various amenities including hydration stations stocked with fresh fruits, medical support tents equipped with an ambulance for safety, and even a food court to satisfy post-race cravings. For those traveling from outside Guaíba, kit pickup begins at 6:00 AM the day of the race.
Runners will receive either a premium or basic package depending on their registration choice, complete with commemorative medals, timing chips for accurate results tracking, and other exclusive items like event t-shirts and drawstring bags. The festival promises an engaging experience that combines athletic challenge with local community spirit in one of Brazil's most welcoming cities.
Registration is now open at the Índio Supermercados website or through Lêmur Eventos' online platforms for both adult categories, while kids’ race packages are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Don't miss this opportunity to celebrate Guaíba’s rich culture and lively community in one of its most anticipated annual events.
The event's unique blend of competitive spirit and family-friendly activities makes it an ideal gathering for both seasoned runners and beginners alike, set against the backdrop of a charming Brazilian city ready to welcome all who participate.
