25ème édition Semi-Marathon Roura Matoury

The Roura Matoury Semi Marathon, now in its 25th edition, is set to take place on Sunday, September 27, 2026, at 6:30 AM. This challenging 21.1-kilometer course invites runners of all ages and abilities—from juniors to masters—to lace up their shoes and compete in a scenic race through the picturesque landscapes surrounding Roura and Matoury.
The journey begins with a bang right outside the town hall of Roura, where participants will be greeted by enthusiastic spectators. As you run towards Matoury, you'll enjoy breathtaking views that showcase the natural beauty of this region. The course is designed to test your endurance as it weaves through charming rural areas and offers runners an unforgettable experience.
The event welcomes both licensed and non-licensed athletes, providing a platform for all fitness levels to participate in individual, duo, or team relays with four relay runners each. Team members must adhere to specific composition rules: female teams consist of four women; male teams are made up of four men; mixed teams require two men and two women.
Team entries can be registered as youth squads (minimum three juniors plus one master) or regular teams, ensuring a variety of competitive categories for all participants. At the 20th kilometer mark, relays must regroup to complete the final stretch together, crossing the finish line in unison.
Registration is open from July 1st until September 23rd at midnight; late entries will incur additional fees starting on September 24th up to race day. Dossards can be picked up between 5:30 and 6:00 AM on race morning, or the day before from 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM at the Paul Emile Gymnasium.
