24ème TRAIL DU MONT-AIGOUAL

Join the vibrant 24th edition of the Trail du Mont Aigoual on July 4, 2027, at L’ESPEROU. This family-friendly race offers four distinct routes through the stunning forests and peaks of the Cévennes Mountains, a UNESCO World Heritage site.
The main event is the challenging 23km course with 720m elevation gain, perfect for experienced trail runners seeking panoramic views and rewarding terrain. The route winds through lush pine and beech woods, offering glimpses of cascading waterfalls in the Hérault Valley and breathtaking vistas towards the Mediterranean coast.
For those looking to explore at a more leisurely pace, there are three shorter options: an 8km mini trail with just 200m elevation gain; a scenic 13km course that meanders through forest paths; and an unranked 8km hike for all ages. Each route features the unique beauty of the Mont Aigoual region, including its wildlife habitats.
Race day activities kick off at 7:30 AM with packet pickup followed by wave starts from 9:30 to 10:05 AM across various distances. The event promises a festive atmosphere with live music and local food vendors throughout the weekend. After crossing the finish line, participants can enjoy post-race refreshments and collect their commemorative souvenirs.
Registration is now open exclusively online at sportsnconnect.com; no on-site sign-ups are available. Don't miss this opportunity to experience one of France's most scenic trail races!
