22th Annual Lovell Old Home Days 5K Race

Nestled in the serene landscape of Lovell, Maine, the Lovell Road Race offers runners an unforgettable experience on Saturday, July 17, 2027. This annual tradition kicks off from the picturesque Lovell Recreation Field located at Smart Hill Road, providing participants with a scenic starting point for their journey.
Registration closes online three days before the event, on Wednesday, July 14, 2027, at 1:00 PM EST. Early birds who register beforehand can enjoy a discounted fee of $20 and will receive a special commemorative t-shirt designed by an art student from Fryeburg Academy. Race day registrants face a slightly higher charge of $25 but still get to join in the fun.
The race itself promises stunning views as it winds through the charming town, offering participants not only challenging terrain but also opportunities to appreciate the natural beauty that surrounds Lovell. Refreshments and food will be available at the finish line along with random prizes for all who cross the tape. The top male and female runners can look forward to special awards recognizing their achievements.
Post-race festivities include a chance to connect with fellow participants over refreshments, while proceeds from the event go towards supporting both the Lovell Rec Department and the Old Home Day Parade Race. For those arriving by bus, there will be transportation leaving Lovell Field at 8:30 AM to take runners directly to the start line.
