2027 Riverton Country Races

Join us for an unforgettable morning of running at the Riverton Country Races on July 3, 2027! This year's races feature distances that cater to all levels—10k and 5k runs as well as a unique 1.776-mile event. The race starts early with the 10K kicking off at 7:00 AM followed by the 5K starting just fifteen minutes later, both beginning from Riverton City Park.
The course for the longer distances winds through scenic paths and quiet streets around Riverton, offering runners a mix of flat terrain and gentle hills. Participants in the shorter races can enjoy two loops on 1300 W and Lover's Lane, providing an opportunity to experience the local charm up close. Refreshments will be available at the finish line for all participants.
Registration is open now with early registration rates through June 2nd offering discounts of $5-$10 off each distance compared to late registration prices starting from June 3rd until race day. Be sure to register in advance if you want a guaranteed shirt and swag, as same-day registrants cannot be assured these items.
In addition to the races themselves, there will be awards ceremonies for top finishers across various age categories at both the 10K and 5K distances. The shorter race also includes medals for all participants and prizes for the first three in each age division.
Packet pickup is available early from June 23rd through June 27th or on race morning starting at 6:00 AM, with water stops along both courses to keep you hydrated as you run. Don't miss out on this vibrant community event!
