2027 Money Today Broadcasting Independence Movement Day Marathon

On March 1, 2027, runners gather at Ttukseom Hangang Park's waterfront stage to participate in the annual running event celebrating the March 1st Independence Movement. The race offers three distances: a scenic 5K along the riverfront, an energizing 10K that challenges participants with varied terrain, and a half marathon for those seeking a longer adventure. Registration fees are KRW 35,000 for the 5K (no timing chip), KRW 60,000 for both the 10K and half marathon (chip timed). The event starts at 9:00 a.m., following an assembly time of 8:00 a.m. Runners in the 10K and half marathon must be at least 15 years old. With its rich historical significance, this race promises not only physical challenge but also cultural immersion for participants.
