2027 Cinnamon Bun Run 5K & 10K

Kick off your fitness journey with the 2nd Annual Cinnamon Bun Run, organized by AMPT Running Co., on January 2, 2027. This unique race offers runners an opportunity to lace up their shoes and hit the pavement while supporting a great cause: Patriot Paws.
Participants will enjoy a scenic route through the heart of downtown, where they can admire vibrant city life and historic landmarks as they make their way towards the finish line. The event is designed for all skill levels, with options that cater to both casual runners and seasoned athletes looking for a fun challenge.
After crossing the finish line, participants are invited to indulge in freshly baked cinnamon buns from local bakeries, which will be available at various points along the route as well as at the post-race celebration. The sweet treats provide an energizing boost during the run and offer runners a delicious reward upon completion of their race.
In addition to the running event, there are activities for families and friends, including live music, vendor booths, and interactive games that celebrate the spirit of community and wellness. All proceeds from this year’s Cinnamon Bun Run will go directly towards supporting Patriot Paws, an organization dedicated to providing service dogs for veterans with disabilities.
