The 2026 Tairaninis Cool Kids Mountain Race is set to take place over two consecutive days, November 21 and 22, at the picturesque Longwu Tea Town in Changdai Village of Hangzhou's West Lake District. This event caters specifically to young participants with four distinct categories designed for different age groups: an 8.4KM Cool Kids Youth Division for independent runners aged 12-15; another 8.4KM Cool Kids Junior Division for those completing the course independently between ages 8 and 12; a fun-filled 8.4KM Cool Kids Family Division where children aged 6 to 12 run alongside an adult guardian, typically parents or guardians within the age range of 18-55 years old; and finally, a shorter yet engaging 3.8KM Cool Kids Mini Race for younger kids between ages 3 and 6 accompanied by their parent or legal guardian.
The race promises to be both challenging and rewarding, offering participants an opportunity to explore one of China's most scenic tea-growing regions while learning about the local culture through interactive activities along the route.
