Experience the exhilaration of the 10th Annual Petawawa Triathlon, set amidst the picturesque landscapes of Black Bay. This multi-sport event caters to all skill levels with three distinct races: the Sprint Triathlon featuring a 750m swim, a 20km bike ride, and a concluding 5km run; the Sprint Team Relay, where teams of two or three can compete through the same challenging course; and the Super Sprint, formerly known as Try-A-Tri, which includes a shorter but equally thrilling 350m swim, 10km cycling leg, and 2.5km run. Participants will embark on their open water swims in Black Bay, renowned for its serene beauty, ensuring an unforgettable start to your triathlon journey. Early race kit pick-up is available from August 15th between 2:00pm and 4:00pm at GearHeads located at 3133 Petawawa Blvd., or on the morning of the event during check-in and body marking, which runs from 6:45am to 7:30am. The Sprint and Team Relay race will commence sharp at 8:00am; the Super Sprint will follow once all sprint participants have completed their swim. Post-race celebrations await you at the KIN Hut in Petawawa, where both triathletes and volunteers can enjoy a well-deserved meal and an awards ceremony. Register before August 1st to secure your desired t-shirt size, as sizes may not be guaranteed after this date. Upon registration closure, participants will receive an email with all necessary information. Safety briefings are mandatory for everyone prior to the start of the race, ensuring that every athlete is prepared and informed.
