2026 Oak Ridges Moraine Adventure Relay

The 2026 Oak Ridges Moraine Adventure Relay takes place on Saturday, June 13, 2026, starting at 8:00 AM EDT in Gores Landing, Ontario, Canada. This human‑powered adventure across one of Ontario’s most spectacular landscapes offers a Full Relay (~160 km) with canoeing, biking, and running, and a Half Relay (~90 km) with biking and running — supporting the Oak Ridges Trail Association and the Greenbelt Foundation.

Event Logistics & Participant Information:

• Team Registration: Team Captain registers first and pays the full team fee. Captain generates a passphrase (or receives a targeted link) for members to join for free. ONLY THE TEAM CAPTAIN PAYS.
• Individual/Small Group Matching: Don’t have a full team? Enter your information via event website — organizers will help link you with a team.
• Timing: Elite divisions — total “gun time” from first paddle to final runner. Recreational divisions — summed total time of each leg (clock not running during changeovers).
• Multisport Format (Full Relay): Canoe leg on Rice Lake (east), then heading west across the Moraine to York Region. Bike stages (~95 km) on mixed trail, sand, gravel, and pavement. Run/hike stages (~55 km) on rolling trail terrain.
• Half Relay: No canoe leg. Course covers first half of the route. Final stage distances TBD.
• Water & snacks at checkpoints; teams are self‑sufficient between checkpoints.
