2026 Hoad Hill Harriers Xmas 10k and 1 Mile Fun Run

Hoad Hill Harriers invites runners of all levels to the festive Hoad Hill Christmas 10k & Mile Fun Run on Sunday, December 6th, 2026. The race starts at Ulverston Park Sports Club (formerly Glaxo Sports Club), located at North Lonsdale Road in Ulverston, Cumbria.
The day begins with the mile fun run at 11:00 am, followed by the main event – a scenic and challenging 10k race that kicks off promptly at 11:30 am. Participants will enjoy running through picturesque landscapes around Ulverston Park Sports Club, offering runners an invigorating experience amidst winter scenery.
Prizes are awarded to the top three finishers in both male and female categories for the 10k event, as well as special awards for first-place U18, U16, and veteran (40+) participants. Team prizes are also available; teams must wear club vests, with scores calculated from their best three runners.
All 10k finishers will receive commemorative mementos to mark the occasion, while medals await those who participate in the fun run. For younger competitors under eight years old, an adult companion is required for safety reasons during the mile event. The minimum age requirement for the 10k race is fifteen.
On-site parking and changing facilities are provided at Ulverston Park Sports Club to ensure a comfortable experience before and after the race. Additionally, runners can enjoy refreshments and use of toilet amenities throughout the day.
