2026 Caiyun Yunnan Outdoors Challenge (Fengqing Station) & 2026 Yunnan Fengqing Dianhong Trail Race (2026七彩云南户外运动挑战赛（凤庆站）暨2026云南凤庆滇红越野赛)

On December 12, 2026, the picturesque city of Fengqing in Lincang, Yunnan Province will host the vibrant and challenging Yun Nan Feng Qing Tea Road Trail Race. This year marks the fifth anniversary of an event that has grown from a modest gathering to a major sporting attraction with over 3,000 participants expected this winter.
The race offers several distance options: the grueling 70KM route through rugged mountains, the scenic 50KM path winding along tea plantations and forests, the more manageable but still challenging 35KM trek, an easier yet engaging 15KM trail run, and a family-friendly 6KM fun run. Each course is meticulously designed to showcase Fengqing's stunning natural beauty while testing runners' endurance.
Participants will traverse diverse terrain featuring steep climbs and descents that total thousands of meters in elevation gain and loss across the longer routes. The shorter distances offer equally impressive views with less strenuous ascents, providing a taste of the region’s breathtaking landscapes without overwhelming novices or casual enthusiasts.
The event is not just about racing; it's an immersive experience celebrating local culture through traditional dances like Yunnan Dabiao (a lively folk dance) and offering unique culinary delights at aid stations. Runners will enjoy fresh tea leaves, hearty stews, and other regional specialties that energize both body and spirit.
Registration opens on October 12, with early bird discounts available until October 31st. Don't miss the chance to be part of this unforgettable adventure in one of China’s most scenic regions.
Join us for a day where nature meets sport, tradition intertwines with modernity, and every step is an exploration of Yunnan's rich heritage and natural beauty.
