2026 Yuxi Fuxian Lake Half Marathon (2026玉溪抚仙湖半程马拉松)

The Fuxian Lake Half Marathon, with a Chinese Athletics Association Class A application pending, starts at 8:00 on November 22 on Fucheng Avenue in Chengjiang, Yuxi, Yunnan Province, at an altitude of 1,750 m. The field is 10,000 for the single 21.0975 km race. Pre-registration and payment ran from 14:00 on September 28 to 22:00 on October 28, and if entries exceed the limit places are drawn by lottery, with results published at 14:00 on November 2 and full refunds for those not selected.
This is the eighth edition. Fuxian is the largest deep freshwater lake in China by water volume, with average clarity of 5 to 6 m and up to 12.5 m at best. Between January and June, all 21 main rivers feeding it were rated excellent for water quality.
The course hugs the shoreline, running from the wetlands of Guanglong Fuhai Bay to the waterside wooden bridges of the Time Boardwalk, with the lake beside it and distant hills ahead.
