2025 LCWC Vitality 5K

On a crisp Saturday morning in early summer, runners and spectators gather at the picturesque LCWC in Lakeview, Michigan. The race begins promptly at 8am on June 21, 2026, under clear skies with temperatures averaging around 20 degrees Celsius, making for comfortable conditions as participants take to the streets of our vibrant community.
The LCWC is surrounded by a rich tapestry of local businesses and homes that contribute to its unique charm. Race day sees an enthusiastic crowd lining the route, offering support from the sidelines. This race has been running since 2015, with over 300 participants each year, making it not only a community event but also one deeply rooted in tradition.
The course itself is a blend of flat and mostly paved roads that weave through our sweet village. Starting at LCWC on South Lincoln Avenue, the route gently winds its way around charming local landmarks before looping back to finish at the same starting point. Expect some gentle curves and turns as you pass by quaint shops and historic buildings.
At key intervals along the course, runners will find well-placed aid stations offering water and refreshments. The start/finish area is a hub of activity with photo booths, informational booths, and post-race festivities planned to celebrate all participants. Weather conditions in June are typically mild, though temperatures can range from 14.7 degrees Celsius at the low end to 26.3 degrees Celsius during peak hours; it's advisable for runners to prepare accordingly.

Bib pickup is available the evening before or early Saturday morning, with a packet pick-up window of 423 S Lincoln Ave (the LCWC) from 1pm to 6pm on Friday. Those unable to make it that day should arrive as soon as possible after registration opens at 7:30am sharp.
