1º CORRIDA E CAMINHADA DA APAE SÃO PEDRO DA ALDEIA

On December 13, 2026, the first-ever Corrida e Caminhada da APAE de São Pedro da Aldeia will take place at 7:30 AM. This event celebrates sportsmanship, inclusion, and community participation in a picturesque setting near Praça Hermógenes Freire da Costa, also known as Praça das Águas, located in the heart of São Pedro da Aldeia.
Participants can choose between two distance options: a competitive 5 km run or an accessible 3 km walk. Both events share a common starting line and are designed to accommodate runners and walkers alike with safety measures such as medical support from ambulances on standby throughout the course, hydration stations along the route, and security personnel ensuring everyone's well-being.
The event infrastructure includes electronic timing systems for accurate results, portable toilets, fruit tents offering refreshments, and designated areas for sports clubs and teams to engage with attendees. The atmosphere is vibrant and supportive, fostering a sense of camaraderie among participants as they navigate through the scenic streets of São Pedro da Aldeia.
Registration fees vary by lot but start at R$79.90 for early birds via online platforms like Ticket Sports or in-person payments without convenience charges at APAE's local office until noon on December 2, 2026. Special discounts apply to senior citizens and individuals with disabilities who present valid documents upon kit pickup.
This inaugural edition promises an unforgettable experience that highlights the importance of community engagement while promoting health and wellness through physical activity.
