13º MOVIMENTA BATATAIS

On December 6, 2026, the vibrant streets of Batatais will come alive with the Movimenta Batatais Race, an inspiring event that combines athletic competition with community support. The race begins and ends at Rua Dom Bosco in Bairro Castelo, where participants can look forward to a scenic route through this charming Brazilian town.
Competitors have two distance options: a 5 km run around the circuit or a more challenging 10 km course featuring two laps of the same track. Both races are electronically timed for official results and start early on race day at 7 AM, following an organized warm-up beginning half an hour earlier.
The event is not just about running; it also includes cycling, walking, and dog-walking categories to cater to a wide range of participants. Each category promises unique experiences tailored to the enjoyment and fitness goals of every athlete involved.
In addition to the races, this year’s edition aims to promote sportsmanship while supporting local charities through its partnership with Movimenta Batatais Association. Participants can secure their spots on July 6th when online registration opens via Ticketsports.com.br until November 29th or until race slots fill up.
As part of the entry package, runners will receive a unisex t-shirt in limited sizes and other commemorative items such as a bib number, timing chip, backpack, and various giveaways from sponsors. All participants are encouraged to connect with the event’s social media channels for updates on specific details leading up to race day.
This event offers more than just competition; it's an opportunity to experience Batatais' community spirit while contributing positively to local causes.
