Join us for an exciting Saturday session designed specifically for young cyclists aged 10-16 who are looking to improve their skills and enjoy the sport. While we primarily cater to intermediate riders, younger participants with sufficient experience are welcome upon our review of their abilities. The event kicks off at 11am and runs until 1pm, offering a dynamic morning filled with cycling challenges and activities aimed at enhancing your child's riding proficiency. The first hour is packed with energetic drills and group rides, followed by a brief break around noon to refuel and recharge before the session resumes. We encourage all participants to bring along a drink and snack for sustenance during the day. Registration can be done online or on-site if you prefer last-minute arrangements; however, we close our booking system at 10pm on Fridays so that we can prepare for the upcoming event with accurate participant lists. When making your reservation, please use your child's name to ensure proper identification and discount application for HHYCC members. Members receive a £2 discount off the regular price, which is automatically applied during registration. Our club operates smoothly thanks to our dedicated volunteers who support various aspects of the program such as event management, bike maintenance, and coaching. If you're interested in contributing your time and skills, we'd love for you to get involved with one of these teams on a rotating basis. This session promises an engaging day out filled with learning opportunities and fun activities tailored just right for young cyclists eager to grow their passion for cycling.

About Southwark
Learn more about the host city, Southwark.
Southwark is a district of Central London situated on the south bank of the River Thames, forming the north-western part of the wider modern London Borough of Southwark. The district, which is the oldest part of South London, developed due to its position at the southern end of the early versions of London Bridge, for centuries the only dry crossing on the river. Around 43 AD, engineers of the Roman Empire found the geographic features of the south bank here suitable for the placement and construction of the first bridge.
