Join us for an exciting Saturday session designed specifically for intermediate riders aged 10-16 years old. The event kicks off at 11am and runs until 1pm, offering young cyclists the chance to hone their skills in a supportive environment. While primarily aimed at those with some experience under their belts, younger riders are welcome too—just let us know beforehand so we can ensure they're ready for the challenge. The morning is packed with energetic cycling activities that will keep participants engaged and active from start to finish. A brief break around noon allows everyone a chance to refuel with snacks and drinks before diving back into the fun. We recommend bringing along your favorite refreshments to stay energized throughout the session. Registration can be done either online for those who prefer planning ahead, or you can simply show up on the day if that suits you better. Online bookings close at 10pm on Friday nights as we prepare our lists and rosters for the following Saturday's activities. When booking, please use your child’s name instead of yours to ensure a smooth check-in process. If your young rider is already part of HHYCC (Hillside High Youth Cycling Club), they'll enjoy an additional discount of £2 on their registration fee as a member benefit. Our club relies heavily on volunteers for various roles, including helping with the register, bike maintenance, and coaching sessions. If you're interested in getting involved or know someone who might be, feel free to reach out—we'd love to have your support. This event promises an enjoyable day filled with learning opportunities, friendly competition, and a chance to connect with other young cyclists who share their passion for cycling. See you there! Join us on September 12, 2026, for this special edition of our Saturday sessions.

About Southwark
Learn more about the host city, Southwark.
Southwark is a district of Central London situated on the south bank of the River Thames, forming the north-western part of the wider modern London Borough of Southwark. The district, which is the oldest part of South London, developed due to its position at the southern end of the early versions of London Bridge, for centuries the only dry crossing on the river. Around 43 AD, engineers of the Roman Empire found the geographic features of the south bank here suitable for the placement and construction of the first bridge.
