Join us for an exciting Saturday session designed specifically for intermediate riders aged 10-16, but also open to younger cyclists who meet our high standards of skill and ability. The event kicks off at 11am and runs until 1pm, offering a full two hours packed with cycling challenges and fun. The morning is filled with energetic rides that will test the skills of young riders while keeping them engaged and entertained. A brief break around noon provides an opportunity for participants to refuel with snacks and drinks before diving back into more riding activities. It's important that all attendees bring along a drink and something light to eat, ensuring they stay hydrated and energized throughout. Participants can sign up online or simply drop in on the day of the event. If you choose to book ahead, make sure to use your child’s name for registration purposes rather than yours. Additionally, if your child is already a member of our club (HHYCC), there's a £2 discount available when booking. Our cycling community thrives thanks to dedicated volunteers who help with various aspects such as the registration desk, bike maintenance, and coaching sessions. If you're interested in contributing or learning more about volunteer opportunities within these teams, feel free to reach out. All roles are managed on a rotating schedule, making it easy for everyone to get involved. Online booking closes at 10pm on Fridays so that we can prepare the lists needed for the following day's activities. We look forward to seeing you and your young riders as they continue to grow their cycling skills with us! Remember to check back regularly or follow our club updates for more details about upcoming sessions and events.

About Southwark
Learn more about the host city, Southwark.
Southwark is a district of Central London situated on the south bank of the River Thames, forming the north-western part of the wider modern London Borough of Southwark. The district, which is the oldest part of South London, developed due to its position at the southern end of the early versions of London Bridge, for centuries the only dry crossing on the river. Around 43 AD, engineers of the Roman Empire found the geographic features of the south bank here suitable for the placement and construction of the first bridge.
