Join us for an exciting Saturday cycling session designed specifically for young riders aged 10-16 years old. This vibrant event offers intermediate cyclists the chance to improve their skills and enjoy some spirited fun on two wheels. Younger, more experienced riders are also welcome; however, we kindly ask that you contact us beforehand to ensure they meet our standards. The session kicks off at 11am sharp and runs until 1pm, providing a full morning of action-packed cycling activities. The first hour is packed with energy as participants engage in drills and races designed to enhance their abilities. A brief break around midday offers an opportunity for refreshments before the fun resumes. Participants are encouraged to bring along water bottles and snacks to keep hydrated and energized throughout the session. Whether you prefer to register online or simply drop by on the day, we have options available to suit all preferences. Online bookings close at 10pm on Fridays so that we can prepare our attendance lists for Saturday morning. When booking your child's spot, please ensure their name is used rather than yours in the registration process. Additionally, if they are a member of HHYCC (Hillside Happy Young Cyclists Club), there’s a £2 discount available to make this event even more accessible and enjoyable. Our club relies on dedicated volunteers who help with various aspects such as the register, bike maintenance, and coaching teams. If you’re interested in getting involved or would like further information about volunteering opportunities, we’d be delighted to discuss how you can contribute to our community of enthusiastic cyclists. Don’t miss out on this fantastic opportunity for young riders to develop their cycling skills while having a great time with peers who share the same passion. Join us at [Location] and experience the joy of cycling in a supportive and encouraging environment.

About Southwark
Learn more about the host city, Southwark.
Southwark is a district of Central London situated on the south bank of the River Thames, forming the north-western part of the wider modern London Borough of Southwark. The district, which is the oldest part of South London, developed due to its position at the southern end of the early versions of London Bridge, for centuries the only dry crossing on the river. Around 43 AD, engineers of the Roman Empire found the geographic features of the south bank here suitable for the placement and construction of the first bridge.
