Join us for an exciting Saturday cycling session designed specifically for young riders aged 10-16 who are ready to take their skills to the next level. While younger cyclists with advanced abilities are welcome, we kindly ask that parents check beforehand if they meet our standards. The event kicks off at 11am and runs until 1pm, offering a full two hours of spirited cycling activities. The first hour is packed with energetic rides and challenges tailored to intermediate riders, followed by a brief break around noon for refreshments before the second session begins. We encourage all participants to bring their own drinks and snacks as there are no official food stations provided on site. Whether you pre-register online or decide to pay upon arrival, we hope to see your child join us for this engaging day of cycling fun and development. Online booking closes at 10pm the night before, giving us time to prepare lists and ensure everything runs smoothly come Saturday morning. If your child is a member of HHYCC (Hillside Happy Youth Cycling Club), they can enjoy a £2 discount on their entry fee as part of our membership benefits. Our club relies heavily on volunteer support for various roles such as registration, bike maintenance, and coaching. We welcome parents who are interested in contributing to these teams; all positions operate on a rotating schedule designed to fit around your availability. If you're eager to get involved or simply looking forward to the event with your young cyclist, mark June 19th, 2027 on your calendar and make plans for an unforgettable day of cycling in our vibrant community.

About Southwark
Learn more about the host city, Southwark.
Southwark is a district of Central London situated on the south bank of the River Thames, forming the north-western part of the wider modern London Borough of Southwark. The district, which is the oldest part of South London, developed due to its position at the southern end of the early versions of London Bridge, for centuries the only dry crossing on the river. Around 43 AD, engineers of the Roman Empire found the geographic features of the south bank here suitable for the placement and construction of the first bridge.
