Join us for an exciting Saturday session designed specifically for intermediate riders aged 10-16 years old. The event takes place from 11am to 1pm, offering young cyclists the opportunity to enhance their skills and enjoy a fun-filled morning on two wheels. The first hour is packed with energetic activities that challenge participants' abilities while fostering teamwork and camaraderie among peers. A short break around noon allows everyone to refuel with snacks and refreshments before diving back into more engaging exercises and drills. We encourage all attendees to bring along their favorite drink and a snack, ensuring they stay hydrated and energized throughout the session. While drop-in participation is welcome on the day of the event, pre-booking through our online system helps us prepare better for your child's experience. Online bookings close at 10pm on Fridays so we can finalize preparations in advance. When booking, please use your CHILD'S name rather than yours to ensure accurate registration details. Additionally, if you're a member of HHYCC (Hillside Happy Young Cyclists Club), there is a £2 discount available for this session. Our club relies heavily on volunteer support across various roles such as the registration desk, bike maintenance, and coaching teams. If you have an interest in contributing to any of these areas, we'd be delighted to discuss opportunities with you further. All positions operate on a rotating schedule, making it easy to fit volunteering around other commitments. Don't miss out on this fantastic opportunity for your young cyclist to grow both physically and socially within our supportive community environment.

About Southwark
Learn more about the host city, Southwark.
Southwark is a district of Central London situated on the south bank of the River Thames, forming the north-western part of the wider modern London Borough of Southwark. The district, which is the oldest part of South London, developed due to its position at the southern end of the early versions of London Bridge, for centuries the only dry crossing on the river. Around 43 AD, engineers of the Roman Empire found the geographic features of the south bank here suitable for the placement and construction of the first bridge.
