10º MEIA MARATONA DE PIRACITY

On November 8, 2026, runners of all levels are invited to participate in the Colégio Estadual Olavo Bilac Race Day. This family-friendly event aims to promote health and wellness through various race distances including a half marathon (21 km), a 10-kilometer run, a 5-kilometer race, and a participatory walk.
The day kicks off early with registration starting at 5:00 AM followed by an energizing warm-up session. Participants will then line up for the start of their respective races beginning promptly at 6:00 AM. The scenic urban route takes runners through vibrant streets such as Olavo Bilac, Presidente Vargas, and Guilherme Zuegue before heading into a more rural setting along Estrada Major Lima.
The half marathon offers an extended journey that explores the picturesque landscapes of Estrada Fazenda, providing participants with breathtaking views. All race distances feature challenging yet manageable terrain designed to cater to both amateur and professional athletes alike.
Race organizers emphasize safety by implementing strict time limits; after 2 hours and 30 minutes from the start, security measures will be reduced for participant convenience but also adherence is expected.
Participants can look forward to a medal ceremony beginning at 8:30 AM where top finishers are celebrated. Additionally, all registrants receive essential race day kits including timing chips (for timed events), bib numbers, and post-race medals upon finishing the course.
Registration remains open until October 28th or when the limit of 1,200 participants is reached on the event's website at www.ticketsports.com.br. Runners can choose between an economical kit starting at R$75 (without a shirt) and a Gold Kit including a commemorative t-shirt for R$80 in early bird pricing.
Don't miss this opportunity to join fellow enthusiasts in celebrating health, community, and athletic achievement on Race Day 2026.
