1ª CORRIDA E CAMINHADA DA REDE FEMININA DE COMBATE AO CÂNCER

On October 24, 2026, the Rede Feminina de Combate ao Câncer of São Francisco do Sul hosts its annual race and walk event, bringing together athletes from both professional and amateur backgrounds to promote health awareness and support cancer-fighting initiatives in their community. The scenic Avenida Dunas serves as the starting and finishing line for this meaningful event.
Participants can look forward to a well-organized schedule that includes kit distribution between 14:30 and 15:45, an energizing warm-up at 15:50, followed by race starts at 16:00. The course features two distinct distances: a 6 km run with two complete laps around the official route, and a shorter 3 km walk or run for those preferring a more relaxed pace.
The event highlights include hydration stations along both routes to ensure participants stay refreshed throughout their journey. Post-race festivities kick off at approximately 17:30, featuring award ceremonies that celebrate top performers across various age categories in both the 6 km and 3 km events.
Registration for this impactful race closes on October 16, 2026, with entry fees varying by lot to encourage early sign-ups. Discounts are available for senior citizens aged 60 and over, who can enjoy a significant reduction based on current legislation guidelines. Branded merchandise such as official event t-shirts and finisher medals add to the experience.
This year’s edition promises to be an inspiring day of unity and purpose, set against the backdrop of São Francisco do Sul's beautiful coastal scenery.
