About the event
Join the Saturday morning cycling session for young beginners aged 6-9 at HHYCC! The hour-long ride starts promptly at 10:00 AM and welcomes older kids who are just starting out with off-road biking. Please register using your child's name, not yours.
For children under 8 years old, parents must stay on site during the session for safety reasons. Arrive 10 minutes early to ensure a smooth start; come even earlier if you need to hire a bike from us. HHYCC members enjoy a discount of £2 per session.
Volunteers are always needed and appreciated at our club. If interested in helping with registration, bike maintenance, or coaching, feel free to speak with one of the organizers about joining these teams on a rota basis.
Experience the joy of off-road cycling amidst friendly faces and supportive guidance tailored for young riders just starting their biking journey.

About Southwark
Learn more about the host city, Southwark.
Southwark is a district of Central London situated on the south bank of the River Thames, forming the north-western part of the wider modern London Borough of Southwark. The district, which is the oldest part of South London, developed due to its position at the southern end of the early versions of London Bridge, for centuries the only dry crossing on the river. Around 43 AD, engineers of the Roman Empire found the geographic features of the south bank here suitable for the placement and construction of the first bridge.
