About the event
Join us for an exciting Saturday morning session designed specifically for young riders aged 6-9 years old, though older beginners are welcome too if they're new to off-road cycling. The event kicks off at 10:00 and runs for a full hour, offering a fun introduction to the world of mountain biking.
Please register using your child's name rather than yours when booking online. If your little one is under 8 years old, we kindly request that you stay on site throughout the session. Arrive about 10 minutes early so we can start promptly, and come even earlier if you need to hire a bike from us.
Members of HHYCC enjoy a special discount of £2 per session, making it an excellent value for families already part of our community. Our club relies heavily on volunteers who assist with registration, bike maintenance, and coaching – all operating on a rotating schedule. If you're interested in getting involved or just want to chat about how you can help, please let us know.
Experience the thrill of off-road cycling in a supportive environment tailored for young riders eager to learn and grow as cyclists.

About Southwark
Learn more about the host city, Southwark.
Southwark is a district of Central London situated on the south bank of the River Thames, forming the north-western part of the wider modern London Borough of Southwark. The district, which is the oldest part of South London, developed due to its position at the southern end of the early versions of London Bridge, for centuries the only dry crossing on the river. Around 43 AD, engineers of the Roman Empire found the geographic features of the south bank here suitable for the placement and construction of the first bridge.
