10 o'clock - beginners - Mountain biking
About the event
Join us for an introductory cycling session designed specifically for young riders aged 6-9 years old, though older beginners are also welcome if they're new to off-road biking. This fun-filled hour begins at 10:00 AM on May 15, 2027, offering a gentle introduction to the joys of mountain biking in a supportive environment.
Participants should arrive 10 minutes early to ensure a smooth start and to allow time for bike rentals if needed. Parents are encouraged to stay on site with younger children under 8 years old throughout the session. HHYCC members can enjoy a discount of £2 per session, making it even more affordable for regular attendees.
Our club values community involvement, so don't hesitate to reach out if you're interested in volunteering as part of our registration team, bike maintenance crew, or coaching staff. We rely on dedicated volunteers to keep the sessions running smoothly and would love to have your support.
Experience the thrill of off-road cycling with us this spring!

About Southwark
Learn more about the host city, Southwark.
Southwark is a district of Central London situated on the south bank of the River Thames, forming the north-western part of the wider modern London Borough of Southwark. The district, which is the oldest part of South London, developed due to its position at the southern end of the early versions of London Bridge, for centuries the only dry crossing on the river. Around 43 AD, engineers of the Roman Empire found the geographic features of the south bank here suitable for the placement and construction of the first bridge.
