Welcome to the Regency 10k Run, an annual charity event founded in 2004 by volunteers from Leamington Round Table. This beloved race now attracts around 2,500 runners each year and has raised over £500,000 for local good causes such as supporting homeless individuals and funding community youth groups and school projects.
The Regency 10k Run will take place on Sunday, April 12th, 2026, at 10:00 am. The race begins at Newbold Terrace East in Leamington Spa and finishes at Mill Gardens adjacent to Jephson Gardens. Participants can pick up their race packs from the designated collection points starting Tuesday, April 7th through Friday, April 9th, or on Race Day from 7:30 AM until 9:45 AM.
The scenic course winds through some of Leamington Spa's most picturesque parks and gardens, including Newbold Comyn (formerly home to a golf course), Victoria Park, and Jephson Gardens. The route is a mix of paved surfaces and bridleways, with all road sections closed to traffic for the event’s duration.
Participants will gather at 9:00 AM on Race Day before the race starts promptly at 10:00 AM. Finish line medals are presented as runners cross the finish line between 10:30 AM and noon when prize giving begins. The post-race celebration includes refreshments for all participants.
Entry fees range from £25 to £29, depending on whether you register early or later in the year. Parking is available around the start/finish area but please be mindful of local residents and park legally and safely.
Baggage storage will be provided at the finish line near Mill Gardens where runners can leave their belongings during the race. Unauthorized number swapping is strictly prohibited as it affects timing systems and results; violators may face exclusion from future events and forfeit any claims to prizes or trophies.
Race day amenities include temporary toilets adjacent to the start area, bone-conducting headphones for listening enjoyment without compromising safety rules set by UK Athletics, and medical support provided by paramedics and nurses stationed along the course and at the finish line. Results will be posted on www.regency10k.co.uk after Sunday evening.

Prize money is awarded to first, second, and third place male and female finishers (£100, £50, and £25 respectively) along with age category winners. Trophies are given out based on top club team performances as well as corporate teams competing in the event.
